The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 15.61 points or 0.55% higher to 2859.33, taking the year-to-date performance to -0.81%.  The top active stocks today were DBS, which gained 1.49%, Singtel, which gained 0.54%, OCBC Bank, which gained 1.25%, Wilmar Intl, which gained 3.76% and JSH USD, with a 0.49% fall.
